Richard Lynn Hitt - U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force
Spent just over two years in the U.S. Army, basic training, Warrant Officer School and helicopter training,
then served in Vietnam as UH-1H pilot with First Cavalry Division, served 1969-1971.

Spent twenty four years in USAF, was stationed in Europe for seven years, flew T-37, T-38, A-7, O-2, and A-10.
I have the most time in A-10. I have flown F-4, F-16, and F-15.

I enjoyed my military service very much, great people in both services.
I have flown just about everything but a heavy transport type aircraft, I have piloted helicopters, light aircraft, fighters, and a glider.
Flying is great fun….don’t do it privately because it is mighty expensive.
