Patricia Crandall lives at Babcock Lake in the Grafton Mountains near Petersburgh, New York, where she devotes time to her family, writing and community work. She enjoys reading, skiing, golfing, swimming, exercising and traveling. She puts aside whatever free time she has for writing.

A vast number of her poems/haiku, articles and short stories have been published in many small press magazines and a variety of newspapers. She has won many poetry awards and has two books in print, Melrose. Then and Now, a historical volume and I Passed This Way, containing poetry. She is currently working on another book of poetry, several mystery-crime stories, a series of short fiction and novels.

Patricia's feelings as a poet have affected her role as a mother by allowing her to capture in poetry the formative years of her children. These poems are snapshots in words. They capture her children as they were during that moment in time.
