My wife's a wonder to be seen.
She feels compelled to dust and clean.
All forms of clutter she'll abolish
By lavishing much spit and polish.

I'm tagged with names like slob and louse
If I leave things around the house.
Throughout the day you'll hear her say,
"Here. Put these blasted things away."

Oh, I could never be content
In such a bland environment
Devoid of personality.
I much prefer reality.

She can have her sterile bubble
With its cares and constant trouble.
My study is my haven fair,
And I receive some solace there.

I thank the Lord I've got a place
Where I can go without disgrace
And keep my stuff stacked up in piles
And navigate through narrow aisles.
