Her brilliance of logic helps her hurl
the utmost pointed weapons she can find,
arguing on and on with all mankind,
as she was raised to be a clever girl.
But pay her off with fat milk - she will curl,
her Majesty the Cat - she's not the kind
to leave her sweet teeth easily behind -
her kinship may be Claw but she is Pearl.
If pearls have shells, then smartness is her shell,
and other shapes a million she knows well,
blessing you after drawing out your curse.
Emerging just like your own mirror face,
so close, so true, so quickly gone her trace -
what if you are a sudden change of hers?
